I believe there is a person behind every problem, and a story behind every issue. Therapy is a partnership between the client and counselor in which they work together to find and expand upon the client's strengths in order to build efficacy and resilience in tackling the challenges they are facing.

I focus on the expertise each client has given their specific life experiences. This expertise is then used to gain a deeper awareness of what's going on "underneath" a problem or difficulty for the purposes of strengthening skills and abilities that enable the individual to thrive.

I seek to dig deep! Clients will find an ally who will support and encourage them to reflect on experiences as well as learn and practice skills. It is my hope that clients take away from our time together a clearer understanding of themselves, and that they feel empowered to apply themselves more effectively in their lives.
