Do you find yourself filled with anxiety about things in the future, setting boundaries, or your relationships in general? Do you have intrusive thoughts related to current stressors or past trauma? This is exhausting, and you deserve relief. Often, talking to someone is the first step in accepting who you are so that you have room to grow into who you wish to be. I believe that addressing trauma and negative beliefs about both ourselves and the world we live in are key to healing.

As a clinician, I try to meet individuals where they are in what they are currently struggling with, and my therapeutic approach varies based on the individual. Through compassion, empathy, understanding, and seeing life problems as opportunities to learn and grow as opposed to something to cast judgment upon, I hope to ally with clients in helping them reach their identified goals. I use the therapeutic relationship, client strengths, Cognitive Behavioral methods, Gottman, EMDR and Trauma-focused techniques to help people struggling with various life problems.

My clients can expect to gain insight into how their thoughts impact their daily lives and take away skills enabling them to feel and express emotions in a healthy way. We will collaborate to identify “sticking points” or repetitive patterns in your life and relationships so that we may replace them with healthier ways of communicating and coping, all while finding acceptance for who you are at your core.
